When connecting a 0-5 volt output from a WB to the A/D converter, does the ground from the WB need to be connected to the ground pin on the A/D converter so that they have the same reference?

Thanks

Yes it does

All inputs to the A/D converter need to have their ground connected to the converter ground as a reference point

If your wideband unit is chassis grounded in your car, then you should be able to run a wire from the ground pin on the DLP unit to the chassis ground on the car at any point.
