Ca18det running high impedance injectors

Post by LOwchaNZ »

Hi Guys,

i think this isn‘t a new topic but i couldn‘t find any existing helpful thread.
I want to buy These injectors:
https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-9 ... ca18-s13-1

As written in their description these are high impedance injectors. OEM for ca18 are low impedance injectors + the standard resistor pack. EFI says that i just have to remove this resistor pack to run these injectors.

Is this gonna work with Nistune or the ECU hardware itself? Or is a standalone ecu required? Will there be issues with this change regarding dynoing? Are there any experiences?

Best regards
Lorenz

As per their advice, you will need to remove the resistor pack to run high impedance. This is a hardware thing, and the drivers impedance is not a software adjustable thing

So yes you can use the injectors after removing this
