What is the part number (ECU ID) displayed when you do connect?

When does it connect (only when engine not running?)

Does it disconnect when you start cranking, and then not connect again?

Does the engine run okay?

Who installed the board?

What is the MAF voltage shown in the Nistune software?

What MAF are you using (RB30? or Z32 etc)?

Have you done the OPAMP modification (See Type 1 manual, towards end) if using anything but an RB30 MAF?

Hey Matt,

So I’ve managed to find a std Vl rb30 na ecm and she has started. So what I need to do is transfer the mistime rom to the working ecm, unless you can work your magic please? I would also like flex fuel and what ever other feature I can throw on this working ecm .. I’m happy to send the ecms down and cross to you .

I have gotten that same error. And we believe it to be a corrupt flash of the base image of nistune. Matt would be best to give a solid answer if this is your issue.

Iv sort of narrowed it down to ecm not giving a ignition signal to the coil ...

And this is with the nistuned ecu? If so does the fuel pump prime when the key is on or does it stay running?

Can you answer the questions I posted above, and then I can help further. I need an answer to each one, to narrow down the issue. For example if it only connects engine off, then doesn't engine on, then I need to know the MAF voltage @ engine off to check that. If it disconnects engine on and doesn't run then there might be an installation issue

Okay you might need to post the ECU here. It sounds like it was working but no longer connecting (corrupted image or damaged board?)

Please post to the PO Box address on our website?

I don't have record of fitting a board for you in our invoice system (only a licence in January). When was the board supplied and fitted? You can shoot me an email info@nistune.com with more info
