B13 SR20DE 94Y00 FLEX FUEL BOARD INSTALL

Hey Matt I have a flex fuel board and I don't see any real documentation to help me install it any further then power and ground, can you help by telling me which wire go where, thanks

P.S. I also need a feature pack for this ECU I don't see one available if you can make one for me that'll be great

B13 SR20DE 94Y00 does not have flex fuel (or feature pack support)

B13 SR20DE does have documentation (for earlier models - as listed) which involves power and GND. The 5V power line goes off the regulator similar to S13 SR20DET ECU

The input line I am not sure about, since we don't have support for that hardware. It is one of the two green lines going to the potentiometer

Anyway... the reason why no FP support for this ECU is that it is not a common model ECU (earlier are more common so supported) and also this particular version is 64KB and uses a different address file and coding.

I have had a look at it but was unable to locate specific routines to patch in the Total injection multiplier and flex fuel code portions. This is similar for the later P10 SR20DE model ECU with 64KB code

I can give it another look when I have free time, but if you are wanting to get it working, perhaps source an earlier ECU which is in the support list and install into that one?

Ok Matt I got another ECU 23710-67Y00

I think I may have a caught a typo here

It says:
B13 SR20DE / S13 SR20DE / P10 SR20DE / S13 KA24DE
Remove resistor R226 (component marked 112)

But component R226 is not marked 112 BUT component R225 is marked 112 can you please advice which is it that is suppost to be removed R226 or R225.

I've updated the document. A better explanation is needed

The resistor number varies between hardware (R225/R226) but it is definitely the component with '112' written on it which needs removal (as this is a pullup/down resistor)

The second pictured ECU is B13 74Y00 which is same as you have so remove R225 on this one

Ok Matt here I am again the previous 67Y00 ECU ended up being a bad ECU had a blown out trace that i caught later on, so got a new ECU.


This ones a B13 SENTRA SE-R 64Y01 ECU and I have a question on the FLEX FUEL "OP" wire and the VR229 (Potentiometer) I had a look at the KA24DE ECU and it looks vary similar as this B13 ECU but can you tell me where I would solder the "OP" FLEX FUEL board wire to? Thank you and over look the picture below and tell me if it looks good to you, thanks

Not sure if this is even relevant but I took a picture anyways cause I dont want to remove the wrong resistor especially cause one of them is so small I cant even read the text with my current magnifier lol and I noticed that the middle soldered pin under the actual potentiomeer location trace run through R226 and R225 well seems to terminate at R225 actually

This is from Nistune Feature Hardware Install PDF for the S13 KA24DE ECU not sure what is meant by lower ground wire then again mines a B13 SR20DE ECU and its 3 pots but only 2 green wires soldered on and ran over to VR229 in the middle of the ECU board)

I've now added B13 SR20DE to the same page as S13 KA24DE in the hardware document

I've got a 67Y10 ECU here which is identical hardware to yours so have double checked all this. It is the same potentiometer wire (near R405) as the S13 KA24DE

Also the resistor must be the 112 marked resistor (1.1Kohm) which is a pullup from the potentiometer to 5V. Removing this allows the voltage to be pulled down with less resistance.

More important with the Zeitronix ECA-2 which has a weaker output than the Nistune board and cannot fight the pullup as well

Thanks Matt, im not able to test it yet cause I don't have a B13, I was just putting this together for a friend out of state, but I may actually be the one ending up testing and tuning it at a later date, and i'll will report back.
