Software update Win10

Hi Matt,
I got my subscription renewal notification so downloaded the latest version of the software from the site but Win 10 gave me the attached error.
in case anyone else comes across this, all you have to do is disable windows defender to carry out the installation then re-enable it again

Do a manual update and see how that goes. Nistune does not contain any virus signatures (since it is signed)
Its the first time I've seen this on Windows 10. I'll give it another shot at updating on my machine. Disabling Windows defender means its potentially requiring extra MS authentication before exectuing the Nistune download from the temp directory

Just updated on my other laptop and it updated without this error message, looks like I'll need to look in to the actual laptop itself

Am I correct to assume that NIStune runs fine on Windows 10? Been searching because my current laptop is crapping out on me and will probably have to buy a new one soon.

Yes. I run windows 10 at the moment. So all good to go!
