Too aggressive timing?

Post by Gotenks64 »

So here is my current build
Built Head w/ BC stage two 264/264 Cams
Cosmetic Head Gasket
.020 Over Bore with Wiseco 9:1
Eagle Rods
Fully balanced rotating assembly
Stock flywheel
Spec Stage 3+ Clutch
Holset Hy35 on 6psi

Injectors are 980u for the latency 19500k constant with z32 MAF in blow-through configuration...... does this level of timing seems too low or too aggressive I am running a KA24DE, and my boost starts at about 25 TP and maxes at 44 TP. I am running SARD 850cc injectors on 93 octane. I have attached a log and screen shot. I also have a weird inconsistent problem where the car starts to bog down and the idle drops and the AFR go lean for like 1 or 2 seconds, the car recovers and idles at 14.7 -15.0. IT just seems weird to me. I have a knock sensor I got from a guy over seas and it sees denotation at about 2800 rpm to 3800. I dont know if its the harmonics of the motor or what. Here is the link to the knock light I have been using, anyone else try it?

Also what would cause the idle to rev from about 950~ rpms to 1000 slightly? The car won't just stay at 900 solid.

WOT yielded to me a 25 TP so I started boost at 26 TP, ends a 44 TP
