rb30 (VL)

I did a search ahead of time just to let you know.

I had to swap over my engine while I work on it and now I am running the rb30e.

I went into the rom pack and noticed when I uploaded the 30e image to the ECU the car would die as soon as I try to drive. (injectors already resized.)

After this I had a better look and it seems that the map is incomplete.

I managed to transfer fuel, timing and scalers etc to the current ECU image and the car cracks.

The only thing I am wondering about is that at the bottom of the map it seems real lean. Any ideas on this one?

I am thinking I will just bring the bottom 3/4's up to decent values. I will attach what I have for now.

What is the part number showing in Nistune (23710-xxxxx)?

It must match the part number you are uploading. NA and Turbo images are different and have different map locations

Thanks Matt, I will check ASAP. It is definately the turbo ecu though.

I am mostly wondering why the N/A maps from the rom pack are so lean. 16.08 down the bottom.

I do not have the wideband setup on my current manifold so I can't check it.

Those are only estimates. Proper wideband will show the actual AFRs to be around 14.7:1 (stoich) around idle (800rpm low load)

B4903/B4913 = turbo base program (VLT vehicle addresses)
J7100/J7110 = NA base program (CR31 vehicle addresses)

You cannot load turbo maps into a NA base (or vice versa) since some of the map locations are different between the two ECUs
