I'll concur on the "standard" and "expert" mode automatically switching.
The initial window is not applying its changes and reverts to 'standard' by default. You can adjust in File > Configuration. I've made the fix and will roll out very soon
Nice job on the slider speeds. nice consistent with no acceleration.
What sliders? Log player??
Why does the AFR auto adjust operate in reverse to the fuel map? - more, + less
Ok I've made AFR auto adjust change like the fuel map now in the code. It was because raw values in fuel map increase, decrease AFRs (richer)
New bug. found after creating an autotune file and then trying to save "autotune binary file can not be written" tried 'documents', c:\, new folder. still no go.
Okay its not including the path information with save file. Fixed

Version 0.12.6
Auto tune - invert lean/rich keys
Auto tune - not including path name on file / save
User mode - initial selection not stored
Knock control tables. Add variable size 3D tables to Nistune
A31 Cefiro investigation. Fueling inconsistencies no issues found in firmware

Sweet, I'll have another go at using it.

Regards to the sliders.... its the arrows next to the values on the latency or Constant(K) adjustments.
The don't start off slow then go take off like a rocket making car stall if you hold it too long.
seem nicely paced and don't increase in speed the longer you hold the mouse button depressed.

How to remove these painful messages/warnings boxes that tell you the ECU type/number is not recognized !?
I code my bin version into the ECU number and I know what I'm doing

Second, I noticed Nistune hangs up in Active tests menu:
most of the time when clearing self learn maps
each time when playing with VTC on/off
it seems Nistune gets out of sync easily on Conzult
the only option is to kill Nistune, and so, no crash report

Conzult doesn't do that when playing with solenoids on/off

I can add a tickbox to disable these checks. They are there since some tunes have maps from say a GTR synced over a S14 base ROM so this procedure is to identify problems and provide solutions to fix it

So this only occurs when using the Active tests menu then with freezing up? You are using an emulator and consult? I will add to the list to look into it. If I cannot repeat here I will require a debug log

yes that was in 0.12.1. It was to do with a bug with the new undo functionality added to that version screwing with 16 bit values (hence VQ map affected). Found and fixed in 0.12.3 test version onwards

Need asap.

Yes, only when using active tests and it hangs up when you push "start" (Clear Self Learn for example).
No, I'm not using emulator, just Consult (COM1) and Innovate MTS (COM2), btw only consult port freezes/gets disconnected for a while (so Nistune freezes too): I can see MTS is still running in background.

I don't get email notification from the answers to the posts anymore.
What does happen ?
"Notify me when a reply is posted" is obviously ticked.

"Not known ECU number" check is still there.

There's definitively a problem with notification regarding new posts, everything is ticked in my account (as before, nothing changed) but don't get any forum notification (and it's not in SPAM folder !).

Updated 0.12.9
Removed the 'burn successful' window (still shows status success at bottom of screen) to resolve issue with dropping out after burn
"Not known ECU number" check is still there
Untick the 'verify loaded image' tickbox in File > Config. I'm not turning this feature off permanently, its just now configurable

I'm not sure with the email notification thing. This forum was meant to be upgraded to VBulletin ages ago. Just spoke to the administrator and they will start working on the transfer again
