subaru MAF

Post by johnus »

A good question has been asked on sx owners club site here in the uk ,can the subaru maf be used on nissans ,they look exactly like a z32 unit so fitment would be straight forward. Has anyone tried this with success? There seems to be plenty of them and they're much cheaper than a z32 maf

As long as you have a calibration curve for them (nissan needs 64 point curve) which we can transpose to the ECU and the MAF does 0-5 volts then I dont see a problem using these

It would appear that subaru owners go to nissan mafs as an upgrade ,they have issues with reliability of the subaru item and a Z32 is a straight forward replacement . Was a nice idea but no good

Seems like the Z32 MAF is the common choice :) No wonder why there are chinese copies of them made :?
