Lock icon on *.bin files

Not really a bug, just not sure whats going on. I went to look in the directory of my bin files today and noticed a bunch were missing. I then opened nistune and saw that I could still access them through the program. I noticed that all the "missing" ones have a little lock icon showing up on them, and they are not actually present in the folder.
Why am I not able to copy some of my recent bin files to another folder? where are they?
