RB26DETT: Adjustment of Ignition Timing during Warm-up Stage

Post by bj226 »

Dear all, I'm using the Nistune on my BCNR33 with BNR32 ECU. The car is currently running fine with Tomei system 2 map for 555cc injectors & Poncam B, and just waiting for my further tuning.

I notice that during the warm-up stage (below 60C), the timing will always retard to 10 BTDC whenever I floor the throttle (under load). The timing limit will be gone when water temp reaches 60C, and the timing can freely jump from 20-45 BTDC according to the load. Actually, same also happened on my Mines Stage-1 ROM.

Is there any way that I could get away the timing limit earlier say at 40C or 50C?? tried to adjust those enrichment coefficiency but can't make any difference.

thanks!

So no one knows how to adjust the restriction of ignition timing before the engine warms up to 60C through the Nistune??

use the latest Beta version 0.9.5b avaiable and the address files with that have been included

BNR32 has 'warmup timing' table with 15/20 degrees in it

The controls for this are in the second 'constants' window under 'Timing control'

Let me know how you go with changing these
