Feedback Control Flags at SR20DET

Post by MichaS14a »

Hi!

Does anyone knows for what the unlabeld Bits in the appended pic are useful?

Its a picture from the original settings of SR20DET ECU (82F08).

not sure about the other ones

there are lots of flags to set in the maps but we only really know the ones that are important

But to make it a little bit more clear for me:
These bits are not the bits of "Fuel pump on/off", "AC on/off", "VTC on/off" etc. that are read and shown e.g. in Nissan DataScan?

Got this from my good forum buddy Liger, I added a little bit to it from my own personal finding.

These are my finding for my CALI KA24DE ECU

Bit 0: EGR System CHECKED means ENABLED
Bit 1: ????????????????
Bit 2: OBD2 System CHECKED means DISABLED
Bit 3: ????????????????
Bit 4: Knock Sensor Self Explanatory CHECKED means ENABLED
Bit 5: O2 Sensor Self Explanatory CHECKED means ENABLED
Bit 6: EGR Tempature sensor UNCHECKED means ENABLED this is a CALIFORNIA ECU thing.....Also I know that the JDM S13 SR20DET has a EGT sensor stock also
Bit 7: Automatic Transmission System CHECKED means DISABLED

Hey Matt you think we can get some more titles in the feedback switches based off this?

Ahh, very well! Thanks for the informations! Now there are only 2 bits left to explore. :)

The funny thing is that I have a bin directly from a auto transmition S14 (not S14a, with EGR, 75F10), so we can compare the bits with my readings from my manual S14a without EGR and it matches.

The only thing being curious is that I don't read anywhere about a EGR temperatur sensor (bit 6) at the S14 (even not in the workshop manual). :?: But it's no wonder if you write this is a feature of USDM-ECUs.

This is also from Liger:

Bit 1: Something to do with either VVTI, Ignition or Turbo system
Bit 3: Same as Bit 1, but I am leaning more towards Turbo system

These I didn't include in my original post becasue I really couldn;t confirm those but there they are.
