FTS/FTL

Post by NeWT »

Stupid question. Didn't find it in manuals. If about 25 DET NEO, if O2 feedback is activated, will FTS/FTL affect non 14.7 cells in fuel map or no?

From reading the ECU code disassembly, it appears the '128' section (flat part) of the map is the O2 feedback section.

However I have found that FTS/FTL will adjust in cruise conditions over the entire map (not just the flat section). So the O2 feedback is enabled over the entire map from experience with monitoring these gauges

Ok, what are cruise conditions then? Cruise is when we are on 14.7 cells or when we are under Alpha N or maybe something else?

That part I am still to work out. It may be throttle position related as well as speed > 0 and RPM. Its different to the earlier ECUs and not much information available out it so it needs to be worked through the code
