Setting Injection Multiplier

Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
I want to change my injectors, what do you advise. 1.2 boost
Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
Injectors depend on power level (not boost level necesarily). About 550CC - 700CC would be recommended for 6 cylinder engine
Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
Saw a good rule of thumb the other day:
Injector size (cc/min) / 5 = horsepower (per cyl)
So for a 4 cylinder engine running 370cc injectors it'd be:
370/5 * 4 = 296hp
Which is probably not too far off the mark. But there are lots of online calculators out there. Just Google "injector size vs horsepower". Just don't expect to nail it down exactly. There are too many variables/assumptions. Particularly fuel pressure and fuel type.

Thank you, yes I saw calculators, many of them, I checked my injectors.
10sec=100ml, 3bar, turns 600сс ?

Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
Yes, that sounds correct. So you have 600cc injectors.
What should be good for around 500hp depending what max duty cycle you're prepared to run them to.

Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
These red injectors are phase 2 270cc OEM injectors.
They are the cheapest injectors in China (JECS knock off, about $10 each).
Once they are shaved (removing the 4 holes disc at the end, they flow about 550cc. But need to be tested to be sure as you did.
It's better to shave them than to redrill them, as they all look the same and then, are in the same spec range.
Once shaved, the spray pattern is not so bad. I have a spare set shaved in case my current injectors go over.
Usually OEM 370cc, once redrilled or shaved, are in the 750cc ballpark.
