Can i use readings off nistune to diagnose my MAF?

I noticed while idling my car, if I press on the maf connector the idle will change. I dont have access to a volt meter at the moment and just want to know if I can look at a recent drive recording and tell something is out of place.

For sure man! if there is any irregularities in the voltage while you are driving like voltage spikes or drops then you will be able to see it for sure. Even just have the laptop in the engine bay and monitor your readings while you fiddle with the maf.

Thanks for the reply! That's what I was thinking. Now, the voltage should be reading the same on nistune as it would through the volt meter test right?

That is correct. ECU should show the same as the volt meter. You can also measure at the ECU plug and the MAF plug on the signal wire
