Z32MAF vs CobraMAF?

Z32MAF vs CobraMAF?

Which one of the above mentioned MAFs measures higher? I heard that when the Z32 was exeeded, the Cobra MAF could be used as a replacement.

The cobra maf can read about 450hp at 5.12 vdc. The z32 maf is at about 600hp. That's crank hp.

Thanks B I figured the Z would edge out the Cobra.

Agreed, my recent calculations based on Nismo data show that Z32 AFM is capable of ~580hp (1745 kg/h of air at 5.12V assuming 0.55lb/hp*hr SFC, 12:1 AFR). I have no factory data on Cobra AFM, but according to Internet sources it's limited to 1500-1550 kg/h of aif, which is roughly equal to 500-520hp, somewhat less if you use richer AFRs.
