Bugs fixed, enhacements implemented, forum

Post by ByReaL »

jus a sugestion,

it will not be better to have a section like "Resolved bugs/enhacemets"

and as soon as a bug is fixed and it is confirmed to be ok, or an enhacement is added and also it is confirmed to work fine, to move them to this section, in order to have in bugs / enhacemets section only the one that need atention (in time theyr number will raise and be hard to track if fixed and not fixed will mix togather)

or try to migrate the bugs to a free bug tracking tool
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bugzilla/download.html (suposed to be the best free bug tracking tool)
http://samba.anu.edu.au/jitterbug/
http://www.bestpractical.com/rt/download.html
http://www.aceproject.com/ (not shure is free and how good it is)

could have another folder with older errors. im not tracking them on the forums at the moment (as you can probably tell)

all bugs are recorded my spreadsheet. this way everyone can see at a glance when i upload it

i am aware of bug tracker tools out there but it is easier for me to keep track of them on a simple spreadsheet at this stage. it is non-internet dependent if i am away for a while without net access

i use problem report tracking tools in my daily work but the spreadsheet is light weight alternative for doing this stuff at home in the meantime

i've just uploaded a sorted buglist to the release folder. obviously there has been quite a bit added over the last two weeks... highest priority or easy to fix are usually tackled first

im now trying to arrange some free time (inc time off work) to start going through these. some are minor and can be fixed in minutes, whilst others could take half a day
