R35 VQ map goes high load quickly

Post by CHIEFAPONTE »

So I installed my R35 MAFs and loaded the VQ maps using the "change MAF" function. I did a run and noticed the indicator on the input tracer would go into the middle/high load areas quickly i.e. hitting the 50 load collumn at 3000 rpms. the interesting this was that load never went off the map(see attachment).

Is this normal?

Should I recalibrate the MAFs?

Where did your source the R35 MAFs from? Some out there are counterfeit...

The load trace only tells some of the story

Need a log of the MAF voltage vs TP to really see the picture. The load measurement is exponential, meaning that it takes more airflow to reach higher loads (which is why you are not yet maxing it out). Seems okay from the trace...
