How to wire r35 MAF to BRN32

Post by CHIEFAPONTE »

does anyone have a diagram/picture they can provide on how to wire the R35 MAFs to a R32 GTR?

I have seen the pinout diagram Matt posted long ago but it does not specify the BNR32.

Thanks for the help.

Sorry I dont have anything... to figure out the wires on the R32 GTR:

GND should buzz to vehicle chasis (use multimeter)
12V will measure 12V at plug when measured against ground (multimeter)
Signal wire is shielded wire

This will help you identify from the vehicle to then:

R35 GTR:
Wire B (Red) – MAF 12V
Wire C (Black) – MAF ground
Wire D (White) – MAF signal

***PROBLEM SOLVED*** using a mutimeter checked the pins on the GTR one is 12V supply to the MAF, the two middle wires can be spliced together for they are grounds and the fourth wire is the signal. I have attached a pic with the proper markings.

The R35 MAFs are a huge improvement over the Z32. I am now tweaking the VQ table.
