Aftermarket Lambda questions

Post by Tommey »

I`m about to install R32GTR ECU`s in an R33 and an R34.
Is it posible to not use the stock Lambda`s and feed a signal from the Innovate instead?
Does it have to supply signal to both inputs?
Any reason why i should not do it this way?

Thanks!

Yes,

That's independent of the ECU though.

You need to buy this:
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lc2.php

Or that:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151740096282? ... EBIDX%3AIT

The LC-2 includes a digital input/output, 2 full-programmable analog outputs, and is ideal for applications such as dynamo meters, data acquisition systems, standalone ECUs, and gauges.

Innovate units all have a narrow band O2 output, but some may need the extra cable to get it from the unit. LC1/LC2 have them by default but LM-2 for example would need an AUX cable

I have an mtx-l have tried setting this up reduced the output signal to 0v-1v but the car hunted badly almost dieing had the correct input pin on the ecu, couldn't get any load on so couldn't drive it but I would like to eliminate the stock o2 if possible was hoping it would produce a better more consistant signal than the stock o2

I've read similar issues on here with the narrow band output not working that great. Not sure if it needs configuring or if its just Innovate. I just replaced my last O2 sensors with aftermarket ones
