Dead ECU, no spark - urgent

Post by brett_32i »

hey guys

just took the car out for a spin and to get some juice. didnt make it to the servo though.

when i nailed it, around 4000rpm it died and i rolled to the side of the road.

no spark whatsover. fiddled around with everything plugging in and out. NG

swapped to a std ECU and away it went.

This has happened before under the same conditions, but after a second it would come back to life so i had no opurtunity to diagnose it.

So, what would have died in the ECU?? is it easier to fix the ecu or swap the nistune into the std one???
