It might not be 100% software bugs , but I have to tell the incident background.
Come across a 1995 180SX black top SR20DET with 23710-50F05 factory ecu .
Was trying to trouble shoot a Limp mode symtom (no DTC for the AFM), when let engine idle for a couples of minutes , it won't rev pass 2,000 rpm but keep on cutting , turn off the engine for 30 seconds and restart it , it rev up normally , tried 2 50F05 unmodify ecu , same symtom .
While trouble shooting it , found that Nistune V1.31 do not have TP in "Select ECU channels" .
DTC 34 Knock sensor was found but it should not causing limp mode.
And on the other day on another car, a late model S14a SR20DET , trying to download the bin file thru consult , V1.31 did not let me download it . Did I miss something ? The download can be done on S13 50F00 ecu but not 80F00 ecu ?

Consult speed up (tuner mode) using register stream

TP is not available in the factory register stream, unless you are using an emulator which injects TP into registers 26/27 of the standard consult table

Previously tuner mode would direct poll memory addresses but it is slow compared to register stream so was removed from 1.3. The change only affects factory ECUs not using any board/emulation. Not a bug, was intentionally removed to improve operation for tuning
