Can no longer edit Fuel maps WTH?!?!

Post by gtobyd »

Hey everyone.... So I finally go around to messing with my Altima again and Nistune will NOT let me edit the fuel maps. I'm stuck with all Closed Loop #s (128 value and up) and I and only edit the Values by doing up (which reduced the AFRs) This is a new issue that I've not come up against in the past. I was always able to adjust with the low value open loop #s in the past (0 value and up)..... Am I missing something??

Make sure the map view is in 'raw view' to edit values. Otherwise you only can +/- the values

Later model ECUs like Altima have fuel and VE maps

Fuel map

128 (raw view) / 0 (filtered view) = closed loop flag
Values > 129 (raw view) / 0-127 (filtered view) = fuel map values

You can only increase these above 14.7:1 to make them richer outside the closed loop area

If you need to make the map leaner, lower your injection multiplier. You can also adjust the VE vs RPM/TPS table if required to trim lower fuel values (this table used in conjunction with the fuel map)
