Hi Louis

Nistune could not find your translation file for some reason.

File > Configuration > Translation file path = C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Nistune\Translation\translation_english_ansi.ini

(or regedit.exe then)
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nistune Developments\Nistune\TRANSLATION_FILE_REV2
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nistune Developments\Nistune\TRANSLATION_PATH

Send the crash report through and I'll check it out. If you cannot start Nistune (and get that error screen) do an uninstall/reinstall and let me know how that goes

Thanks I've updated that J30 file here for the next release

Just tested upgrade on another laptop here and no problems with translation file. Unless it has been moved elsewhere on your machine?

When first install 1.2.7 from 1.2.6, got the warning message boxes, but able to open nistune, just all pull down menu show "undef",
Then, uninstall and reinstall 1.2.7, But 1.2.7 cannot be open.
Uninstall 1.2.7 and remove HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nistune Developments\
and reinstall 1.2.7, still the same, cannot open nistune, did not see the for page registration key.
Unistall 1.2.7 again and install 1.2 , it require registration key.
1.2 100% display correctly, no warning message.

I've tried this out today on a Windows XP machine in case that was any cause but did not see any issue. Please enable debug logging if possible File > Configuration > Debug logging

Go back to 1.2.6 in the meantime and I'll have to check through the code updates to 1.2.7

I had no issues updating to 1.2.7 on the XP machine either so not sure on the exact problem. Are you using default folder locations? Do you have Administrative privileges?

Did you try to change it? I have English on XP and on W7 and region Croatia and everything works, I'm not in workshop so can't check font but it is default I presume as I never did change it ...

I have English (United State) for language option on both of my notebook, XP and window 8.1 .
both set region as Hong Kong SAR,
both notebook run perfect on nistune 1.2
both notebook got the same problem on nistune 1.2.7

The window 8.1 is come with the new notebook, everything is in default setting, first start, first program to install.
I have no idea what could cause this problem

I did not change the floder location,
nistune software should be under C:/program files/nistune
Yes, I can login as administrative.
The strange thing is I have no change in window setting from 1.2 to 1.2.6 or 1.2.7.
Got this problem and uninstall 1.2.7, reinstall 1.2, everything good on 1.2

Is nistune a "non unicode program" ?
