Errors in HCR32 address file

Post by FHCRSky »

Descripition of problem :

Software Version 0.9.14.7

While using HCR32 address file and any HCR32 bin file.

"O2 feedback temperature" that's shown seems incorrect, as it should be 30degrees (was in previous versions of software) and it displays as 205degrees. This is important for tuning my cars engine (fuel maps) in 2 days time, so I thought would mention it and is kind of urgent.

"Fuel cut speed min" is similar, should be 30km/h and displays as 511km/h.

Not sure about the mv for "o2 Voltage Lean", "o2 Voltage Rich" triggers for narrow band 02 sensor, as isn't the narrow band 02 sensor a 100mv - 900mv (0.1 – 0.9v) sensor???

For example with HCR32 address file -

Lean trigger 1150mv / 1000 = 1.15v

Rich trigger 3050mv / 1000 = 3.05v

I gather the previous versions of HCR32 address files might have the correct mv / settings for lean trigger, i.e -

Lean trigger is set at 460mv / 1000 = 0.46v

Rich trigger is set at 1220mv / 1000 = 1.22v

I gather Stoich / 14.7:1 is 0.5v x 1000 = 500mv

I haven't checked other address files, but those are the 4 that stick out that don't seem correct.

Agreed its wrong. I've pulled the 0.9.14.7 link from the website in the interim

Reinstall the 0.9.14.2 version in the interim

There were changes specific to RPM but it affected all the other constants it seems. I've already spent a lot of time yesterday fixing this problem whilst addressing correct variations of RPM between different ECUs. However those need further testing/checking

Thanks.

Installing the previous version (0.9.14.2) solved the problem.
