need help AT-CU S13 find maps

Postby Kair » Thu Sep 24, 2015 6:36 am

Hi,

i need some help to find maps/tables in a autotrans CU...
I drive a 200SX S13 CA18DET LHD @GT2871R/550cc/Z32-AFM so shiftpoints far away from optimum.
At this point i have read out the TCU eprom and search for tables but the only good looking thing was found at hex 1CE7
Is somone firm in dissasembly Motorola 6303?

best regards

ROM dump looks good. vector tables are at the end. Use something like DASMx to do the disassembly. Not much of the way in maps in this one, and no starting information to work from. It will be difficult to work out how this operates without using a logic analyser connected to the AT unit and lots of time

Thank you for reply Matt.

I will try my moates oestrich and log on the road but i´m noob at this...no logic analizer exists in my garage :-(
DASMx is one of the things i don´t know anything about, also assembler language? is one think i don´t understand at all...

Matt, do you see any table to test some changes, like line pressure vs. oil temp or shift points?

I see nothing else than hex1CE7, how looks these vector tables?

Sorry i know, i´m not a great help, i know to use Nistune and oestrich for tuning Maps but all other ist a big "?" for me.

Yes DASMx is a disassembler (assembly language from the file). This is something very specialised and you need to understand assembler to figure it out. Sorry but I wouldnt have any clue about any tables or anything with this ROM file
