Innovate LogWorks 3 SDK Now available! (LM2)

Post by Matt »

Innovate has release their SDK which is required for the LM-2 finally after over a year since promised!

I'll work on integrating that with the next beta release and I'll need people to let me know how it goes with their USB LM-2 devices. I only have the LC-1 here but should work the same in theory

Still can't connect with USB with LM2 even in newest version (0.9.13.8.b) I still have to use custom serial cable.

LC-1 after being left powered on the bench for a number of hours with sensor connected afterwards never could get sensor to heat up to 100% again and also increased power draw meant power supply couldnt cope

Sent Innovate an email about it tonight, both sensors work on the LM-2 but the LC-1 no luck. One thread on innovate forums about this issue but no real information. See what they reply back with. I would like to repair this one if its possible (only a number of chips inside)

LM-2 support works tonight anyway, tested on the bench

My LM-2 cannot always heat itself to 100% also Matt, I haven't been tunning or messing with my car in a while but soon I will with my P11 turbo after I send you my ECU :).

So now the LM-2 well connect via the LM-2 provided USB cable?

sorry with the delay. i've just started looking at this.
18:28:47.905 About to create MTS controls...
18:28:47.917 MTS Control OCX creation successful within this view

18:29:17.162 CMTSMain()
18:29:17.162 statusbar: Wideband 1: Connecting to Innovate MTS COM0

18:29:18.601 Wideband 1: OnSelMTSConnect: Detected ports 3
18:29:18.601 Wideband 1: OnSelMTSConnect: Attempting connection to 0 COM24
18:29:18.601 statusbar: Wideband 1: Connecting to Innovate MTS on port COM24
When you select a port, it gets saved as 'COM0' or a USB device

But later when I look through the list of COM ports it reads as COM24

If you have no com ports (like I do here) then it works okay.... I'll try a fix out for next release and test with LC-1 and LM-2

btw Innovate replaced my LC-1 no charge :D
