You would need a 100Mhz osciioscope or similar with a much faster update rate to see what the sensor looks like. A lot of the input will be noise and the ECUs use a narrowband filter to pass on things which 'look' like real knock which the ECU listens to in certain RPM/load areas

I don't have plans for precise knock reporting in the future. Most professional tuners I've visited use their knock headphones or knock box detection device

Not all ECUs provide adequate knock detection and tuners tend to switch from one vehicle and tuning system to the next quite quickly

I've seen the PowerFC knock reporting in FC Logit but dont think its technically possible to put out that kind of data through the consult interface
