If it isnt a problem or a suggestion it probably goes here.

GTR35 slot type AFM in 3" tube on CA18, showing 4.88 V .....

Post by louiswun »

Single GTR35 slot type AFM in 3" tube on CA18 suck thru set up, I've got 4.88 V at around 1.4 bar at 6,400 rpm only. All pipe , intercooler and BOV pressure test at 3 bar without any leaking.
How much room to increase boost estimated ?
Max reading 5.1V ?
If 5.1V max out, I've only got 0.22 V room, it seems that it cannot read 440HP at 5.1V.

I have SR20DET with HX35 + 740cc need retune in the coming future, I have installed same GTR35 slot type AFM in 3" tube on it, but I guess that it will max out the 3" GTR35 AFM combination, what tube size is good for 500HP at 5.1V ?

Thanks !

The 444HP is a bit of an approximation based on where we had to move K constant compared to Z32 MAF. We definately know it can do 400HP (310rwkw) with some room to breath. The VQ map is exponential, so it takes a lot more airflow to reach the upper voltage levels. I think 420HP it be getting close to pegging

If you move the 3.5" it will easily go over 500hp
