Darker blue highlight on squares at end of column (fuel map)

Post by modulation »

Upgraded to recent version of Nistune and did a number of changes to the car. Now I see sometimes the last column on the fuel map will have squares highlighted sometimes with a dark blue highlight? This is different the the normal 4 squares being highlighted where the ecu is referencing the map.

What does the dark blue highlight mean?

Thanks.

It means that your AlphaN/increase fuel table is being accessed to force fueling to access the last column, since TPS is higher than the current TPS value in the table

You can increase this table to max values to disable using it (some ECUs will have an AlphaN disable flag in feedback flags too, but not all)

Thanks Matt. Do most people just disable it? On my Type3 board for ka24de I do notice there is a tick box to disable it.

On turbo applications, Nissan disabled from factory. When doing SR20DE to SR20DE+T then disable it yourself

The map is intended for NA applications where the end of the fuel map is accessed on maximum volumetric efficiency based on TPS opening position
