Re: RB25DET Information and images
(a) R32 RB20DET ECU with external VCT controller (Buddyclub etc) and Type 2 board with modified TPS Idle firmware Required to swap injectors 4 and 6 since these are different between RB20 and RB25 looms As I pointed out in the other topic, swapping injectors 4&6 is not necessary. RB20 ECU only ...

Re: Launch control
I have done a few launch chips for ca18 and skylines, with regular chips (no nistune). It's quite simple, just use double size eprom and use the extra address pin to toggle launch/normal mode. It works really well.. Just a low rev limit (5000rpm or so), ignition really late and lots of fuel. :) Boos...

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document
Hey! Ignore my last post. I just compared RB25DET and Z32 pinouts: http://www.allpinouts.org/index.php/1990_-_1995_Nissan_300ZX_ECU http://www.gweeds.net/carpage2/RB25DET_ECR33_Pinout.pdf and to me it seems that the injector pins ARE swapped already, they should be correct without any changes? If th...

Have you guys swapped the injectors pins? It's not very easy, yet I feel that those should be swapped..
Does Z32 use sequential injection when at boost, or does it change to single batch like ca18det?

There is one noticeable difference in R32 and R33 GT-R ECU's. R33 has ECU-controlled O2 sensor heating on pin 115, but in R32 the sensors are always heated so the pin 115 is not connected inside the ECU. So, if you put a R32 ECU in R33, your O2 sensors will have no heating. A clean and easy solution...

First of all, I think that even the latest Nistune has CA18 TTPMIN/TTPMAX tables reversed.. TTPMAX should be full 255, I see no reason why it you should set in any lower. So in Nistune this is the TTPMIN table. :) TTPMIN needs to be setup very carefully, CA18 idle is very difficult with big injector...

Usually ECU's from the same family can have base images swapped. But try to avoid swapping manual/auto images. The S13 KA24DE is a classic. If you put a manual image in an auto ECU (could be other way around - can't remember) they will RPM limit at about 4500 for no reason! I just had a similar cas...
