The RB30s dont have a throttle enrichment table to turn off however :? Did some more work on this last night, ready for bench test/debug. No time tonight to work on anything, I had three ECUs to work on getting home tonight... each took about an hour! Anyway it is definately something I've got to pl...

There is currently an issue outstanding with the AFM adjustment on Z31 10491 AFM K constant adjustment Z31/R31 AFMs only affected. Seems that perhaps 2-7 to 0-5 volt modification may affect this? What it means is that on these two ecus that the K constant gets thrown way out to what it should be aft...

Those adaptors were made primarily for me for testing and reading chips on the bench (ie dont normally sell them commercially so only have a single spare 1K on hand and no installation instructions). However I can get some more 8K made up soon and help you get them up and running They take about a m...

When you connect to consult, what is the injection pulsewidth looking like? There are tick boxes for when you change injector sizes. Those will rescale TTPmin/max. I'm making them default 'on' in future releases so people use them by default Some people dont like adjusting the scalers in line with K...

Moates Ostrich should work... I have three of them here and use them on a regular basis.... but they are the latest version 2.0 ones and the only ones I've had to test with (original development was done on a late 1.0 unit which I borrowed before buying them) It will attempt to connect to the Ostric...

Good point. The switching point was 15 degrees Celcius coolant temp However I sent out the latest address file for the Z31 so he should have both (which was updated after I went through the VL Turbo address files) There should be both Cold Start and Warm Start enrichment tables. Cold start will take...

Non powered USB hubs from a single USB port on a PC can support utpo 500mA Most USB converters should use much less than this. Windows Device Manager properties for USB devices should tell you how much each device is using. So you can check there In short... should be fine We will post the status of...

Sorry... forgot to mention... Restart NIStune after enabling the logging. It will then log from startup :( ECUID is blank, which means you probably have the Euro 1987 VG30ET ROM image in there. There may be some incompatibility with your ECU? New board arriving is 1988 SS VG30ET USDM ROM image, sinc...

If you can post/send a debug log with just the TechEdge running I can tell you what is going on. File-Configuration-Debug Logging Fiels put in C:\Program Files\NIStune\logs\*.log In the case of Kens USB-Serial converter we could see that it sent the data in 0.5 second bursts which caused problems wi...

Good idea. That way the user can decide how quickly it updates etc Just started adding the external device knock detection stuff. Uses any auxillary input past a trigger value to make 'knock' sound and appear on the maps. Reduce the knock sound delay also since its too long when it gets triggered ma...

Old thread. Things have progressed too :) Techincally, yes you can I have made 1K and 8K adaptor PCBs, which work two ways, depending which side up you install the pins/socket They take a 27C256 chip and translate the lower 1K / 8K Or you can read a 1K/8K chip into the Willem programmer and grab the...
