At 25:06 I downshift to 3rd and stomp the throttle, it's in the middle of one of those lean peaks and it doesn't really react.
I'm thinking I might need to alter throttle enrich?
I run a Q45 TB if that's relevant.

Lean delay after shifting
Hi everyone, I have recently upped my TP_Min from 4's (No idea why my original tuner had this so low) to 7's and my car is driving so much better now. One thing that is really noticeable is these lean durations just after shifting up: http://minett.com.au/skyline/lean%20spots.jpg Log (end is cropped...

Re: HCR32 ECU for RB25 with VCT output
Is there an easy way to confirm that the fuel pump VCT mod is working correctly?

Re: DegC and going lean
Firstly, I feel like a right ass-hat. It was late ;) Secondly, they are. You eathed the inputs and tested it for me in May. I just cut the wire back to add my other AEM gauges. Maybe something rattled loose. I'll start a new (less embarrassing) thread with my actual problems. First step, I think I n...

Re: DegC and going lean
lol doh!
I didn't realise they were from the DLP. It must be interference of some sort from the UGEO. The input should be from a AEM Temp gauge. They boast that you can use a logger, but they don't provide the scale so I haven't corrected the aux*.csv files.

Sure you can replace the ECU, if you're prepared and know what you're doing.

DegC and going lean
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to troubleshoot why my car goes really lean and has a really lean dwell or lag after gear changes. I notice that when it was really lean DegC was 130+ I think it might be caused (or a contributing factor) by idle/decel What is DegC (I know it's not coolant because that seems ...

Re: Limiting my car to say 3000rpm so it can't be thrashed
I wouldn't do this everyday, or every time I drive my car. Maybe you go away for a long weekend. Currently I remove the ECU completely. The problem with removing fuses is that there's a bunch of other fuses like the horn that could be utilised. Anything to make things harder for them to steal my car...

Anti-theft. On top of alarm/immobiliser and pulling the pump fuse.Eric wrote:Why would you want to do that ? (unless you want to destroy the engine due to massive flooding and borewash)

Re: Limiting my car to say 3000rpm so it can't be thrashed
What would happen if I set them to 500?
Would the car die post after_start_enrich 5 second duration? Would it be safe (so long as you didn't continue to crank and flood the engine)?
