Re: Rich idle after 10 to 15 seconds at 14.7
Thought Id' chime in on this too, let me know if I'm off base here. Have a stock sr20det rebuilt, all things proper, 26 mpg in the convertible 240sx on 4.09 gears, idles 14.7, then goes to 13.7 and sits unless you jab the gas quick on off fashion and then goes back to 14.7 Hook up nistune and watch ...

Contribitions
I decided to connect to my daily today to see if I could see my oxygen sensor and it did. I was unable to find a rom for it in the recent pack so this may or may not be of use yet 59FXX is mentioned in documentation. I downloaded it with Nistune. This vehicle is a US 1993 240sx Convertible ka24de Au...

Re: resuits from my sr20det
Turns out my issue is boost control not being setup properly. I overlooked it. Greddy profec spec b 2. A real pain so far and mixed with a turbosmart 38 wastegate. hooked up currently pressure source to (com) and (no) port to bottom port on wg with top being vented of wg. idle vaccuum has raised sli...

Re: resuits from my sr20det
PL has a thread involving diy knock sensing for cheap and effective results on this forum. with a little tweaking you can hook it up to your knock warning panel and have it auto tune the timing map as I read from here too. personally daring to tread here but not at that tuning level yet so it will h...

Re: another latency/dead time question
I found the seller of the item and he reported back to me:
Hello,
Wow, that is an OLD flow sheet lol. Looks to be about 2 yrs old. We have since changed the flow sheets to have quite a bit more info.
The dead time is .70msec @ 14v
Good luck!

Re: another latency/dead time question
Took a shot in the dark and changed the latency to 0x5C which is about 930 and things are going better. I do hope this is a step in the right direction.

another latency/dead time question
http://i45.tinypic.com/4utfzq.jpg trying to find the correct latency for my 580cc red jecs injectors. searched all day and came up with nothing. might it be listed on the report here that came with the box? I can't read all the info well. I do not understand the split column in flow rate which has ...

Re: rev limiters sr20det
I can explain it easily. With regards to the stock redtop sr20det bin, rev limiter 1 is where you can rev up to from idle. When you reach this value, the ecu will shut off fuel so you will drop in rpms. When your engine speed drops to the value that rev limiter 2 is set to, fuel turns back on. This ...

Re: Lets help each other out
jlinder I downloaded your first posted map back in 2009 and used the fuel map only and my car has been super responsive ever since at 12psi on a stock setup. last year I went into a complete build and now am slowly working out the kinks to place on a gt2835r which I know will probably scare the hell...

the problem was the air filter (apexi) was dirty and even after cleaning it, it still was garbage. I bought a new one and I have no issues. another silly move on my part. I have the z32 but I am thinking why even bother installing it because the turbo is still stock T25. I did figure out my vacuum p...

sr20det intake manifold swap
red top sr20det in a 240sx has fmic, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, AEM wideband mounted in the test pipe, otherwise stock. I got the greddy knockoff plenum onto the car just lately, seems I lost a pound of vacuum. It was at 8.4 and now is 7.3 at idle. This caused the A/F ratio to be at 18.0 at idle. I ...
