No, you can pretty much treat them as separate.

Should just be a simple matter of increasing the values in the RPM scales. I did this to an S13 SR20DE once. No problems. Easiest part of the whole tune. I changed the RPM scales so the last value was 8500. No reason why you couldn't make it 9500. Then just adjust the other 15 values so you have a n...

Hey Josh,

Ummmm - huh???!!! Beeping? You're right - there surely isn't anything in there that could cause a beep.

You don't have a small air leak in the connection to your boost gauge or something do you??

Hey Gabe, That injector driver board is an interesting option. If I was running Lo-Z injectors on an RB I reckon I'd go for that option. It's gotta give you better injector control. It'd be intersting to tune an engine with the resistors and then fit the injector driver and see what difference it ma...

He he he - sounds like you have about as much time for rising rate FPR's as I do Ed! Have you ever measured the value of the resistors that they use on GTiR's Ed? This would probably be a good starting point. You'd think that you'd just need a suitable value to bring the total resistance up to a &qu...

Hey Ed,

Yeah, I fiddled with latency (increased it quite a bit actually) but I'm starting to wonder if maybe this resistor sizing may be a critical value. It would kinda make sense.

I had exactly the opposite problem! Too rich on boost and too lean at idle. Hmmmm. http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?t=511 What size resistors did you fit to make up the fact that R32 runs high impedance injectors and GTR injectors are low impedance? The car I was looking at used 10 ohms. Regar...

Sounds fair. We had to lower the K value as well as lowering the values in the fuel table a lot to get mixtures right (around 12:1). Fuel table values at high load finished up being under 20! But then idle finished up being on the lean side so we increased values in that area of the fuel map. It sti...

This one was running a Z32 AFM too. Finished up with K around 250. Where did you end up?

Thought I'd throw this in here too - for all you guys who get an email when somebody replies to your thread. Like me. :) Hey Guys, Just wondering if there are any issues with changing the standard high impedance injectors to the low impedance GTR type? I'm assuming that you just need to add dropping...

RB20DET with 440cc GTR injectors - any issues???

Hey Guys, Just wondering if there are any issues with changing the standard high impedance injectors to the low impedance GTR type? I'm assuming that you just need to add dropping resistors of around 10 ohms and you should be in business? Do you need to fiddle with injector latency values or anythin...

I haven't re-visited this one yet. I tuned it before Xmas but then the owner was running off to get married and stuff so I'm expecting a phone call some time about it. I suspect he'll just go the NISMO reg seeing as the car has been "enginneered" with SR turbo etc. In SA we're (theoretical...

Yeah, tried the "return into a bucket" trick first up. No diference. Looks like we just need a reg that's capable of flowing more fuel (currently running std). Might grab a Nismo.

Good idea. I'm starting to see the value in having a gauge fitted permanently!

Sounds like an SR I did before Xmas. Your fuel pressure isn't too high is it???
