Re: Using ID1000 injectors on R33 GTR
Hey pete it should tune up fine, we have done a few now on e85 with id1000 's (which would theoretically make it 23% worse) even the id2000's seem to tune up fine.
haapy to have a look @ the map if you want to email it through but im sure your on top of that.

Got an old type 1 in here that had no usb, now wont connect
Hi have a Type 1 in at the moment that was tuned a few years back in SA it has a 6 pin green connector (x3) on it and the usual x1 and X2 connectors. It came in with no usb connected to x2 so i fitted one, but nistune wont recognise the ecu.. is there a jumper i need to solder on these older boards ...

Re: R33 auto with Z32 auto ecu 41P14 not kicking down properly
I have no experience with a Z32 automatic ECU on an automatic R33, but most likely the problem is caused by the fact that the Z32 ECU and R33 ATCU are incompatible. Do you get a code 54 from the ECU ? because then it's a clear case of incompatibility and you will need to find another way to have th...

R33 auto with Z32 auto ecu 41P14 not kicking down properly
Hey guys i just tuned a series II R33 with a auto Z32 ecu ( 41P14 ) it tuned up sweet and drives sweet but it wont kick down properly. It will kick dwn from 3rd to second but if your travelling @ say 10kph it wont kick down to 1ST. Generally when this happens you can be assured its a manual base ecu...

Re: r33 gtst S2 with z32 - Stutter
Hey Trent, Yep, all good. I did that RB25 with 3076 just after Xmas based on your tune and I didn't have to do a lot to it: - tweaked fuel map to richen mixtures in boost transition area - turned off closed loop a bit earlier to allow richer mixtures earlier - gave K constant a nudge from 180 to 19...

Re: E85 basics
You've gotta be careful when tuning AFR's with E85 because stoichiometric is around 9.7:1. You want 8.2 - 8.3:1 AFR at full load. But your wideband needs to be set up for this - it'll use stoichiometric of 14.7:1 unless you tell it otherwise. So it'll show 12.35 AFR when in reality it's 8.2. Confus...

Re: RB20 ECU running an RB25 what to use as a VCT controller
a RPM switch sold by summit racing seems popular among the honda guys to switch VTEC http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-830452/ I have no experience with it on Nissans though. alternatively it shouldn't be too hard to modify the code so you can use the boost solenoid output (ECU pin 25) as a VTC...
