Data Request: SR20VE ECU CPU pinout
Howdy all ! Not sure if this is the right place to ask but here goes... I have a Type3 Nistune in my SR20DE ecu running my SR20VE. All is well, but there's a few functional aspects i'd like to fix, such as having to use an external RPM swithcing device for VVL and the 8krpm rev limiter issue. I have...

Re: Its possible to get no rev limiter or over 8000rpms
I was under the impression from other reports (in a very recent thread) that setting it over 8000 resulted in NO rev limiter at all as the ECU never gets to count higher enough to engage the limiter.

Re: Speed Desnity??
The other problem that people often overlook is that, although some code re-use exists, all the Nissan ECU families are different. So the effort put into say a Z32 ECU would need to be largely repeated to add the same functionality to an SR20 ECU. Often this sort of stuff comes down to individuals ...

Re: Speed Desnity??
I think the issue with the Nissan ECU is the hardware limitations of what the pin function is available to do. I know one guy on HybridKA forum (Before it was hacked and taken down) was working on a MAP conversion table and an elarged cell tuning area and a few other things. I don't know what ever h...

Re: Rev limiter?
Well that's disappointing news as i had always thought that nistune sorted that issue and was a point that i used make about it. Bummer. Its a shame that making a board for the SRxxVE ecu (2N500/5J000) is so hard (and i now realise why after doing some reserach about it) because i know those ECUs su...

Coolant doesn't boil under pressure until over 110degC depending on your pressure and coolant mixture.

Re: How long has your LC-1 sensor lasted?
should be the same, just different packaging and display on LM1/LM2 You havent had comms issues? Show you in my R31 one day - usually on initial connection get an error code and having to pull the plugs / power to everything to power cycle the unit Everytime i've hooked it up its worked first go. I...

Re: How long has your LC-1 sensor lasted?
LC-1 http://www.nexternal.com/bimmerworl/images/innovate%203769%20med.jpg It has no gauge (but you can add one, i use the Innovate DB Gauge) and is more 'hard wired' than the LM1. I'm not aware of any functional differences, but there might be? It has 2 analogue outputs, 0-5v for the db gauge (custo...

Re: How long has your LC-1 sensor lasted?
I haven't had any comms issues so far (touch wood), but having said that i haven't used it a heap with my new laptop, logged a couple of dyno runs and stuff, but haven't really done any tuning.

Re: How long has your LC-1 sensor lasted?
I hadn't planned on using it all the time, but swapping headers to the cat this set only has 1 bung on it so i had no option as such. I'll probably replace the sensor and look at getting another bung installed.
Thanks.
Thanks.

How long has your LC-1 sensor lasted?
Hi all, Been having a few problems with my LC-1 sensor of late. Every now and again it will 'stop working' flashing 7.4 on the gauge like during warmup, diag led flashes 8 flahes which tells me there's a problem with the sensor or its connection and should be checked/replaed. That's all well and goo...

I'd imagine that running the tune would be a pre-requisite before posting it up here. I wouldn't post a tune i hadn't run on my own car and verified.

Re: Bench testing....
I have what i refer to as a 'bench test unit' that i use for downloading maps without needing to have it connected to a car, but it has no sensors or anything connected to it for actual "simulation" of any kind. I got an ECCS plug from a random car, cut off the excess wires and use a compu...
