Re: Type 3 vs Type 4

I think it will not work as e.g. the plug from the S14 is different compared to the ECU-plug from the S14a.

I have a mesh on both sides of the maf. Is there any way to remove one mesh to clean the measurment element and the inn...

Re: Video : How to replace Nistune board broken pin (10Mar2010)

Good video with good ideas e.g. the desoldering with the masked vacuum cleaner pipe. I didnt't know before that this works.

ECUTalk has this implemented pretty good working! How about to ask Peter (the author) about his formulars? Its working with different injector sizes, with different engines (4 cyl., 6 cyl. etc.) and is pretty accurate.

What actions do the triggers make? I know that the ECU will change the ign according to the water temp but till now I don't know that there are 4 triggers for this behaviour. So the 4 triggers must initiate 4 different behaviours. If I load my bin (S14a SR20DET) it will show the following values: - ...

I am glad that there is no public tool available to re-program the NATS as this would be make the NATS useless for avoiding thievery.

I will test the 0.9.13.3 on my 800x600 CarPC-screen. :)

EDIT: Cool! It runs under 800x600!!!

Here is a screenshot from a fuelmap under 800x600:

If you want use a powerful Board like the Intel one I used it is better to use the M2 ATX power supply! I only use the M1 ATX because I already have it at home. :)
The M1 runs but the M2 is better if the Board sucks much power.

I have built in a CarPC in my S14a with a 7 inch Touchscreen. It works well with NIStune but the screen is too small for mapping as the values shown in the maps are too tiny in the native resolution of the screen (800x600). So my CarPC works well for logging and showing values of sensors while driv...
