Re: so, heres a novel idea!!!

I had a big long post written up, but i figured you seem set in your ways and won't really take notice anyway. Firstly, you realise that nistune is nothing more than a ROM emulation device right, so its function (while much more complex) is still basically doing the same function as an EPROM board r...

Re: so, heres a novel idea!!!

Email tuning will never provide the results that a real-time tune will give you. I mean why even have the Nistune product if you're not real time tuning it? sure its easier than pulling an eprom erasing and rewriting it, but you're not getting the full benefit of the product you have, that's why the...

Re: Spark cut instead of fuel cut?

I've seen this point made all the time, fuel cut causes lean out causes motor damage etc etc... but how is it a lean out if there is no fuel to burn lean? No fuel, no bang. The AFR will always show lean on the limiter because for that cycle when fuel isn't injected, the motor becomes an air pump and...

View the maps with Filtered Values rather than Raw Values and it will look more like what you're expecting.

Re: weird fuel maps with bnr32 rb20det-mec

Cells with high value numbers are used for O2 feedback / closed loop cruise operation, is that what is confusing you ?

Its not EEPROM, its NVRAM, so burn as often as you like. You won't wear it out.

Re: AFM <1.000v = very rich rough idle

Well i did a bit of digging myself and found the S13 address matches the Pulsar address so i added it to the Address file and it works. Problem is solved.

Re: VQ table for SR20VE MAF

There are now two SR16VE mafs listed in the options. Suggest revisions: N15-SR16VE > OK leave as-is N16-SR16VE > REMOVE from the list as it should be the same as N15 SR16VE, if its not, need to determine the source of that VQ Map, no N16's had SR16VE (just as the 'N16 SR16VE' ROM was removed from th...

Re: AFM <1.000v = very rich rough idle

Will have another look. There is a low AFM voltage setting which I've corrected and should be available for most SR20s next release Just upgraded to the latest version (10.11 & 2.3.1) and either its not able to be adjusted for this Address file, or i can't find the setting, can you confirm if i...

Temperature display will also be highly dependant on where your aftermarket gauge probe is.

Re: VQ table for SR20VE MAF

No body asked because the SR16VE and SR20VE MAF is so close that they just 'work' ?

When compared are they actually 'that' different ?

Re: NEED PINK nismo 555cc side feed injectors

Well you could replace the SET as PL suggested and adjust the latency and problem would be solved really... Obviously good to use what you have, but in reality, if its holding up the build of the car (like for a YEAR...), replacing the set would seem wise and keep them. Never know when you might fin...

Late R33 / R34 AFM. Should have 3 pin plug too right ?

Should use ECR34 listed AFM in Nistune.

Re: SR20VE maps for NIStune?

You can run an SR20VE motor from a regular SR20DE ECU (N14/N15) with a Type3 board (which is what i assume he's trying to do), just doesn't have the ability to activate the cams with Nistune. @ OP : I'll have a look at it myself tonight and see what is going on. That file is from a USA car, but i've...
