Thanks Matt, first class service like this is why i recommend Nistune to people so often. Never underestimate how strong of a selling point good customer service is.
Will report back once my mate delivers the board to me and we get it going.

Re: bypassing nats..
Thanks for the reply Matt, So would ordering a Nistune Type4 with the JDM non-NATS base image (which was done this morning ....) solve the problem or will the NATS box still need to be replaced to sort out the damage internally which may block things from working either way ? EDIT: The ECU still pow...

Re: bypassing nats..
Sorry to bump and old thread, just doing a board in a mates S15 (not a nistune, i'm trying to 'convert' him with a simple tune so he can see the difference then go for a nistune) and while removing the ecu panel, a wire was pinched between the body and a tool. This wire was of course, the ECU backup...

Re: cant tune up my gtir!!!!!
First thing i see is TP is maxed out in every screen shot for some reason, looks like AFM voltage is maxed out, bad wiring ? Also water temp was 104 in one of those screen caps, that's BAD !

Re: Connecting Gigabyte s1080 to ecutalk
The USB ECUTalk cable creates its own COM port when you plug it in and the drivers install, shouldn't have to mess around with Bluetooth anything.

File compare doesn't compare Low AFM Enrich
Hi all,
Just a small one i've found on Type3 68C00 using compare between two files, the Low AFM Volt Enrich, even when different, isn't highlighted.

Re: did I break it?
You probably flooded the motor would be my guess.
When you're tweaking the injector multiplier, you should tick the "auto" box which will apply the changes as you make them.

Re: Inconsistent fuelling, Z32 MAF issue?
Is it a genuine one is the first thing i'd ask, because the copy ones can cause problems (not sure if this problem specifically). There's a great there on here somewhere that shows the common differences between genuine and copy.
If it is a genuine one, then hopefully someone can help you out.

Re: Inconsistent fuelling, Z32 MAF issue?
If you don't need the amount of airflow that the Z32 can read, i'd go for the same size, but a more suited rating such as the R32/33 MAF. Might help the issue.

Comparing two maps with different RPM scales
Hello all... Recently i've been trying to smooth out the low load stuff as i have had some very bad cold drive issues with the car for a long time that have really started to bug me. The map i have been running on the car has been rescaled on the RPM to 8000rpm, while a standard map is scaled only t...

Re: Z32 with 16bit Type 3 board problems! Car never runs right.
Any good consult software should be able to pull a full ROM, and there are several that will do it faster than those older programs. ECUTalk for one example will pull a 64k rom in about 5-6 minutes.
