Re: Lean delay after shifting

we ran into some similar issues with the rb20 ecu running rb25 there seems to be a missing fast response tps enrichment somewhere that cant be tuned out, i have it coming back in to re-assess, it doesn't do it with Powerfc or z32 ecu only the rb20 ecu with the latest FP. i may have an update next we...

Re: R34 Stagea RB25DETNEO With FF plenum

Neo is really touchy we do dozens of them with nistune each month, it must have all factory fitted sensors and valves to run properly.. yes you can botch it but it becomes pretty average to live with as a daily driver. we have a few C34 stageas over 400awkw with nistune and all the factory gear with...

Re: Idle/decel timing vs rpm does not work ?

fit a S14 ecu, best upgrade (plugs in few wire swaps) you could ever do, the neutral switch is the reason the other timing maps are playing up.

they look like std GM sensors we use them also. lsx engines have them from factory, great for logging at a cheap price

Re: Type 2 with Bosch 1700 Injectors

we use 2200cc all the time with nistune but we use e85 this means the behave more like 1500-1600.

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help

I find with these early ecus that it pays to not dwell on the correct math to determine k value and latency and just manipulate them until it reads correctly at the wideband. The end injection should be perfect for normal pump fuel so that variable is removed, using the stock fuel table (flatten idl...

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help

the high rpm missfire will be spark uber common on CA's. Easy fix is decent coil packs (not yellow jackets or super spark as both are plain junk) and a set od BCPR7eix gapped to 0.6mm this will allow 20-30psi no problem but without the low speed issues of coppers gapped under 0.7mm plug gap of 0.6m...

Re: Test results: 98 octane vs E85

lean is not too much of a problem on ethanol provided the timing it right, we run mid to upper 12's on some circuit cars to gain decent fuel mileage for endurance events.

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help

TBH we just repin S14 ecus in CA18s and use the VCT output to trigger the manifold runner.

It is more than likely a copy Maf. A genuine one wont do that, we run most our Z32 blow though and there is no way it should be reading that high a only 6psi.

Re: LS2/LS7 coils and DWELL Time

I would expect a faulty coil or wiring issue. Not having any issues with LS2 coils on standard coil maps from 04Uxx. At what power? Pretty common to misfire above 400awkw I haven't bothered to measure the power but they haven't blown a 60A circuit yet, I allow 10A/Coil. LS2 or even LS1 coils will r...
