CA18DET Variable Intake Solenoid scale bugs
As title,
RPM scale on the table is not the same as map.
Load scale seems something wrong.

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help
Hi CamsX, The way I adjust idle mixture is for lambda ecu without connecting a lambda sensor. On non lambda ecu, theoretically the ecu pin 37 is for the adjustable idle mixture knob on the standard non lambda CA18 AFM, you should try to connect a variable resistor to adjust the idle A/F mixture. onc...

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help
CamsX, sorry, I've forgot lambda and non lambda ecu parts number.
23710-44FXX is non lambda ecu, no O2 sensor, the 4th pin on the AFM should connect a resistor (or variable resistor ) to adjust idle CO (A/F mixture).

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help
Did you remove the AAC valve ? If no proper O2 sensor signal, there is no short term fuel trim to compensate the intake air temp. The more heat soak on the engine bay, the richer idle it goes, thats why I told to tune idle mixture when engine bay is hot. I think 44F07 ecu is a lambda ecu, it needs O...

How far did your AFM away from your turbo compressor inlet ? And what BOV does it have ?

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help
Just because it will spray a little more of fuel, at 4 bar base fuel pressure, it will be similar to 630cc injector at 3 bar
And I'm using Bosch 044 fuel pump, it is design for 5 bar fuel pressure.

Re: gt3071r on ca18det
If you can afford a garrett gt3071r , I prefer to buy a GTX2867R.
I have tried to tune a gt3071r ar.64 internal gated on SR20DET, it will overboost even if the actuator totally removed.
it is not a problem if you use it with an external gate.

Re: CA18DET - Base setup help
Assume your Z32 AFM is in good condition. This method of tuning is only apply to low AFM signal voltage on idle on CA18DET. No factory O2 sensor connected. Do this way only if you know how to tune your enigen. Do this way only if you have a good fuel pump. only if you have no boost leak. and install...

Re: Setting Injection Multiplier
How come your O2 sensor signal showing 1.72V ? refer to your photo. a signal from a broadband sensor, I have not corrected. A stock ECU should only see 0-1V O2 signal, if you connect the wideband 0-5V signal to your ecu, the AFR will be mess up. Did you tried disconnect the O2 signal to your ECU ?
