Did some playing around with the aux inputs today. Aux 1 seems to be chts voltage and aux2 seems to be my boost sensor. I'm pretty sure somethings not right between the lm-1 and nistune. After comparing readings from Logworks and from Nistune it seems that Nistune reads as a percentage of 5.00v. In ...

.906a9 Working well so far.

So far things are working well. AFRs are displaying correctly and the bin stayed intact so far. I still need to figure out what the two wideband inputs are doing and do some testing with editing rom locations. Log is attached.

I put the resistor on the underside of the nistune board where the eprom socket pins come through to the bottom. It sits inside the pins that go to the ecu. I'll post a pic if that doesnt sound right. Glad to hear you got the problem figured out. On a side note. You mentioned something about Jasons ...

Matt,
Did the 10k resistor on pin 27 and 28. 2000h still goes to 00 as soon as I do a burn it seems. I havent done the capacitor for the disconnect issue. Would that matter?

I think I figured out my nvram burning issue. It appears that when I do the A-B address copy the willem software doesnt like to actually burn anything past 4000h. If I do the copy, save the 32k file, open the new file, and then burn the chip, everything seems to work perfectly. Strange. This is with...

Hmm. Well that kinda sucks. At least you have a usb consult cable now. Are the driver errors something the manufacturer of the chip should be fixing or is it an error caused by the way nistune works with the chip?

the NVRAM Programming guide on the website details that you need to program 4000-7FFF this means using copy /b image.bin + image.bin image_32k.bin to make a double size image which then you load into the NVRAM. the bottom half is not used by the NIStune board for rev2 hardware versions I've been pr...

I'm trying to reburn the chip and I want to make sure it's working right? After I've burned the chip I'm doing a read without the capacitor connected. When I do this I get my burned image at 0000-3FFFh and nothing but FF from 4000h-7FFFh. Is this correct or should I be getting another copy of the im...

I dont have access to any serial consult cables at this time. How critical is the error checking in this case? Maybe make it optional for those who use the romulator to make changes?

Im talking about the normal fuel/timing maps in flat form. Not the 3d map that displays to the right. Also would it be hard make the table windows maximizable like the 3d windows are?

Show TP and RPM on fuel/ignition maps?

Matt, I was thinking it would be nice if you could have the tp (in its small form) and the rpm show somewhere on the fuel and ignition maps. This would make things easier to watch as you dyno tune or review logs. It would also help to replace the floating dot feature so we could see which cell the e...

It appears the vqmap mv table has been screwed up. It should read from 0 to 5120mv? in 80mv increments. If I remember correctly you can convert the TP to the more usable value used in the maps by dividing it by 256. Matt will need to confirm this. Afm unit is in mv I believe. So your afm hit 3.451vo...
