Re: Z32 V4 FP for RB25 Timing going to 0 off idle.

Its not just about an FP base map. It also coincides with FP code which you do not have. You can not burn roms or use an emulator with any FP functionality. Probably same goes for new versions of original code such as V4 etc. You know this for a fact? I've used the V4 code with no problem. I was un...

Re: Can i use 300zx nistune for rb25det series2 ?

Yes Z32 300ZX is supported by default for Type 2 boards On a separate now, we can now get R32 RB20DET ECUs running the RB25DET issue free with VCT (with one modification) we now advise all customers to use this ECU instead of the 300ZX ECU for RB25DET setups Some tuners have reported inconsistent r...

Re: Z32 V4 FP for RB25 Timing going to 0 off idle.

On an ostrich setup, there is no "base image". It's my understanding that the base image is the base code the ECU runs off of. This is often programmed into the nistune board. Then the nistune board can change just specific values in the image to "tune". With an ostrich setup, yo...

Z32 V4 FP for RB25 Timing going to 0 off idle.

I'm having a strange issue. I've built a new basemap for my car from the Rompack "Z32 for RB25 With FP v4". I used the Change MAF feature, and changed the TIM for my bigger injectors. I uploaded to ostrich (I don't have nistune board). I'm having a strange issue where I get 15* timing duri...

Re: rb25 with R32 ECU load going off the map

Ok...after more theorizing, what I'm asking is partially possible with the new TIM. Would it be correct that, when you add a different MAF and adjust the K-constant only, then nothing really changes regarding all the loads and such. Because the calculation of K doesn't change. Formula for calculatin...

Re: rb25 with R32 ECU load going off the map

Thanks. I managed to tune the map to match my new specs. (devide K, multiply TIM) But the questions I had are more related to how nistune works in theory than to simply get a proper result in the end. Maybe the reason is that I'm a software developer myself ;) It helps me understand how the differe...
