Am I correct to assume that NIStune runs fine on Windows 10? Been searching because my current laptop is crapping out on me and will probably have to buy a new one soon.

Also, just had a thought. If the "shielding" on the knock sensor wire didn't cover the wire, could the ECU pick up noise from that wire that isn't actually knock?

I guess my next question is would it be okay to copy the main maps over to the knocks maps and,tune on the knock maps if I can't track down the cause?

I went and disconnected the battery yesterday and changed my Max Load TP scale as well. Car still runs fine, starts fine, idles fine, but it always gets 1 knock count during startup. In the gauge displays, the knock count gauge always reads "0". I'm kind of out of ideas. I have a video fro...

I guess I didn't check when I turn the key on if its on knock maps. I just figured it wouldn't be since the engine isn't started. I will check that tonight though. Would my K Constant or load scale have anything to do with it switching to knock maps on start up? I still need to go through the TP sca...

Sorry to dig this up but I am having the same/similar problem as described. I start my car and it instantly goes to the knock maps. No codes and all the wiring is good. Check your timing and your IACV. I just had a recent idle "hunting" situation and in my experience, those two things are usually to blame. Also, if it helps any, with my Z32 MAF and Deatschwerk 550cc injectors my K Constant is 383 and my Latency is 850 with 3bar (44psi) static fuel pressur...

FIXED!! When I originally repaired the knock sensor connector, I must have forgotten or to heat shrink one of the solders and just wrapped the wire in electrical tape. Turns out the wires in the shielding were touching the knock sensor signal wire and grounding out causing the dreaded Code 34. I re-...
