i use xp, 9.14.13 and 9.14.22 i think and it freezes the screen only way out is to hold the power botton it's only when talking to the car offline it will run all day i'm going to try the new cable driver and see how that works, i think 9.14.22 has put something in the registry didn't have time to l...

any up date on this problem had a nightmare of a time on firday after installing an up date, very random and crashing the whole laptop, must have had to switch it off about 50 times, reinstalled the older version and it crashed less often but still crashed :(

it was the first type 1 i have done, worked out well all the way to 1.1bar before the head gasket failed :( 1989 car with 140k miles on it, we'll get it fixed and see what power we can get out of it :D

the fuel and timing maps are in red(pink) as if they didn't sync properly, the address file being used is for 44f02, the ecu is a 44f01 but the base map on the nistune board is the 44f02, the laptop is connecting and i can adjust k and the other maps in white, just the fuel map is not making as much...

rb20det s13 200sx time attack track car, running on E85(bioethanol 104ron ) was running 290whp with the standard turbo at 1bar of boost and evo4 510cc injectors. this was all good no running problems and map was fine, changed the turbo to a gt2871r(a good bit bigger) and the top of the map maxed out...

work's well on a 180sx with an sr20det, should work as well on the gti-r. but get it as far away from the turbo as you can or it will hunt when returning to idel. mapping idel to 15.5 AFR would help this too.

the sr20det nistune has a feedback switch just didn't know if i had missed it, i work on a lot of different ecu's hard to remember ever bit of every manual i've read :?

the car would start and run on the base map but the car would not talk to the ecu, consult wouldn't connect. the car is running 850cc injectors and E85(85% ethanol 15%petrol) so didn't sound to good and was shut off. was going to try it in an s15 to see if i could get the consult to connect, would t...

23710 80f00 board in a 2371M-91f05 ecu

If i was to put a 23710 80f00(jdm s14a sr20det) board in to a 2371M-91f05(jdm s15 sr20det) ecu, would it work in the s14a?

The ecu from the jdm s14a got damaged and i'm having problems getting another, but have 2 ecu's from s15's, i think the pin outs are the same

cheers for that 8) , but the car is getting forged engine and twin turbo's so a full map is going to be needed, was looking at haltec but it won't run the clock's and its not cheep :cry:
