Re: Hunting for Idle - AFM issues?

Ok, quick update.

It was indeed my intake. Just tried to make it longer and the problem went away

Re: Hunting for Idle - AFM issues?

Looks like My Wideband is really laggy comparing to narrow band :(

It actually gets really rich before stalling.

Re: Hunting for Idle - AFM issues?

Thanks for the explanation Matt.

Would you consider it normal for AFR to lean out as the result of it?

Re: Hunting for Idle - AFM issues?

Also one very important piece of info:
Before it started doing so the car has been sitting on stands for about a year. In that time I’ve installed this turbo, exhaust and intake.

Checked for vacuum leaks - didn’t find anything too bad.

Hunting for Idle - AFM issues?

Hi guys, I'm getting this issue on the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mGYS6f8ZN8 Starting from about 1 minute in the video. It idles somewhat fine. A bit rich but fine, then if you rev it quickly it dies. I've noticed that when it was idling MAF reading was around 1.1 - 1.2, but after ...

Re: Tune after Upgrading afm and injectors

Cool thanks for the prompt answer.

I wonder why reputable tuner went negative originally. It's not a common practice isn't it?

Re: Fan Control Question

Hi Matt, I don't know whether it did anything or not - but I think I figured what the problem was. It just jumped the second cell. Basically it was staying in the first cell until the temperature reached the 3rd and went there. I haven't had a chance to try switch-off functionality on the cool-down ...

Fan Control Question

Hi, I'm trying to get nistune to control Fans on my Jap spec S15, but it seems that I cannot get it to go from one temp band to another. No matter what temperature is only left top cell controls the fan. Screen Shot 2019-05-04 at 1.20.52 pm.png On the pic you can see the temperature is 75deg, but st...
