Ok matt ill try and sort that, only issue is sometimes when I'm cranking over the nistune disconnected and I can reconnect if either it doesn't start or does start.

Chaps I'm havin the same issue with poor startibg and no idle whatsoever I've attached a image of my holding a high idle with a bit of gas can anyone Tell me if any of the figures look wrong and may point to a fault. all fixed just cant get it started now... once its running its fine but its getting it started and then it wont idle on its own... so im reckoning crank enrich/ fuelling/ timing/ idle graph is a miss somewhere... thing is i cant get it to idle to get out the car then run it up and stick on the timin...

Ive had it idling ok with the same afm but with smaller injectors.... thats how I thought the K or the latency was off.. right guys just to confirm, ill set the injector latency to 650 which is the standard figure for the injectors apparently. Am I right in saying that should stay like that? and i should be decreasing the K Constant to get the idle to sit properly? from there I can get the ignition timing totally sort...

ok theres progress made if you can believe it!! were now starting on the key without any fuse nonsense!

Hi Pete that's a big help. I've got much lower compression now I've got
86mm pistons in there. Been talking to matt on another thread regarding
Bad starting poor idle etc so should hopefully be able to pull it all together

hi matt its 550 injectors from an Evo 8. its the q45 im using also. Ive left the crank enrich alone. the symptons are that I have to yank out the fuel pump fuse to get it running. but when the engines warmed up I cant start it no matter what I do. so would that be the crank enrich aswell as cold/war...

I uploaded the latest software the map went haywire. I've now went back the old version 13 software. the issues im getting is nightmare to start then removing the fuel pump fuse itll run great. just the idle wont settle at all. then im getting the odd consult disconnect which I thought I had cured.....
