Re: RB20DET ecu question
Update: cylinders 4,5 and 6 are filling with fuel. Have the plugs out and after cranking with fuel pressure the back 3 cylinders are wet, front 3 dry. Checked the injector firing on rear cylinder. There is an appox. 15ms firing of injector after I stopped cranking engine. This does not show up on cy...

Re: RB20DET ecu question
I just desoldered IC21 out of R33 23710-21U00 ecu and installed into R32 04U12 ecu. It worked! All 6 cylinders are firing from ecu. Now that it has ignition, I have another issue. The engine is filling with fuel, so much that its dripping out of exhaust. Engine will briefly start roughly, but it is ...

RB20DET ecu question
Hello, I have a 23710-04U12 ecu going into a R33 RB25det series 1. I have flashed the feature pack ENT for RB25 on it. I have no output from ignition cyl 5 on pin 2 to power transisitor. Opened up ECU and found a burnt resistor and 3 others out of spec. Replaced the resistors and still no output. I ...

ECU could be bricked
Working on a S14 KA24DE 23710-70F00
Need to know what the board trace going to pin 19 of the W001 row is for. Cant follow it by sight and had a bit of problem with it. Type 4 boards, I would almost rather solder SMD's!

I have used siemens before, they are fine. Make sure ya get latency info for them. I just installed some Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors into a 350Z. First time I've used them. Very impressed with the low speed drivability. I can get the engine to idle at 700rpms and almost perfectly. And they co...

Just a quick finisher to thread. The LM-2 serial output to NIStune works fine. Had to purchase Innovate's cable and splice it to a serial cable end. works.

DLP A/D converter connection problem
So, I have a brand new spiffy Innovate LM-2. Read the article regarding LM-2 connecting to NIStune. Whew, what a hassle. Any news on connecting LM-2 to NIStune? Anyways, I have a DLP A/D conv. ,so I hooked the analog out from LM-2 to DLP A/D. Getting a nice 0-5v signal to it from LM-2. I configure A...

There are no jumpers for Z32 300ZX. It's just a 28 pin eprom chip. Not like the SR20 ecu's. Have done many Z32's that have worked great. And now...I have swapped out a known good Type 2 Z32 ecu from another car I have. It puts 480rwhp at 20psi last time I tested. Fuel enrichment is not a problem. I ...

I did removed O2 flags from the whole row of 2000 and 2400 rpm. Total open loop and no change still. Timing was same way, could not increase or decreas e torque with timing at certain rpm points. I could change the cell in the map, but it didnt change it in the ecu. Could the de-soldering/soldering ...

Can not change Map values , only constants!!!
Using a type 2 board onto a Z32 ecu. I can not affect any change at all in the running of the car when changing Fuel, timing, idle rpm,etc maps. It changes values in the map,but at 2000 rpms steady state load on dyno in TP cell 52, the AFR does not move from 14.1:1 ratio. I can put in 0 or 80 for valu...
