Re: K11 ECU burnt transistor

Was that a question of the number on the transistor? NEC A1441

Re: Supercharged vh45de missing timing

That is interesting. I've not looked into the limp knock routine on this, but it must use at least one of the values. As my comment before, it would be best to rectify the knock code (or stub out with resistors if you plan to remove it. 470K ohm)

Re: Supercharged vh45de missing timing

Normal knock sensing will retard timing upto the values in those tables. You could attempt to lower or zero those, but usually the ECU has another separate limp value parameter (not located) which it will use instead

Re: Nistune Release 1.2.97

Version 1.2.98 Add VCT2 support for P10/S13 SR20DE ECUs (AC output) VCT output was found not to work on these FP ECUs (different port output) so fixes have been made to ENT files (attached) and added second VCT output (using AC) for separate intake/exhaust cam setup. If there is demand for B13 SR20...

Re: Supercharged vh45de missing timing

Fix the knock sensor code! That will cause the ECU to reference the knock map, and it will also pull additional timing out of the knock map We can see from the second 'missing timing' log that about 5 deg BDTC is pulled out when the run passes through the knock flag highlighted section of the timing...

Re: S15 SR20DET no injector pulse

So vehicle is S15 JDM SR20DET, and both ECUs you have listed below are S15 JDM SR20DET (91Fxx) so there is no mismatch there Can you confirm you get the fuel pump prime for several seconds on key on? You are also seeing a few hundred RPM on the gauges when cranking? If not then check bar code on sid...

Re: Retarded Ignition

Yes you could do that, advance all maps (including idle/decel timing) and try that out

Re: VE table and open / closed loop threshold on 70F05 95 S14

Found O2 feedback parameters use load scaling in a RAM map. Adjusting the 'Closed loop TP scale' when adjusting K constant will stop the ECU 'holding' onto closed loop

Refer updated Nistune Mapping document (Page 19) and 1.2.97 with updates for SR20/K11

Re: S14 SR20DET holding on to closed loop??!?!?!

More work was done with investigation for K11, and additional parameters have been added to 1.2.97 http://www.nistune.com/mantis/view.php?id=27 Updated Mapping Guide: Closed Loop (RAM map) RPM/Load Scales Closed loop trimming works by adjusting both STFT (short term FTS) and LTFT (long term FTL) tri...

Re: Unique identifier / serial number ?

No it doesn't. Only the later models (FLASH) would have the VIN encoded with it

Re: Unique identifier / serial number ?

No there is not. The ENT file put in the board during programming contains the same program regardless of which board. Ideally if I had thought about it 10 years ago, I could have added a unique identifier during programming (it would change each program, but would have to be based from a date/times...

Potentially. Try wiring the line from the ECU to sensor ground and see if that helps

Re: WTB: "TMS15-NA" TechTom daugherboard (S15 N/A)

scrambelled ROM images of the chips on the techtom boards Some boards scramble ROM chips (JWT) but others like techtom for normal tuners are normally straight through (like the R33 boards) so the ROM contents might not be scrambled. When you read the ROM images, how did they look? Usually with thes...
